Carnival

An interactive exploration of chaos and calm. Supported by Boundless Theatre.

I was awarded the Boundless Accelerator Bursary in May 2019. Carnival is a new project that is being developed over 2019 - 2022. Carnival is an interactive installation that will creatively explore how mental health and emotional wellbeing, specifically anxiety, affect the lives of teenagers and young adults with complex needs. Carnival is set on a fictional island surrounded by a body of water, the island is getting ready for its annual carnival, inspired by traditional Caribbean carnival, and audiences will get to explore through sound and colourful multi-sensory experiences. The installation aims to be a vibrant celebration of our lives and our differences.
