I am a community focused freelance sensory artist with a passion for collaborating and connecting with like-minded creatives, working on innovative and exciting projects fuelled by playfulness and curiosity.

I have been very fortunate to have worked on a variety of wonderful projects in many different forms. These include live theatre and arts, digital and online, immersive installations, as well as in education and community settings.

“The senses, being explorers of the world, open the way to knowledge”

Dr Maria Montessori

From a very young age, I have felt as though I have been an explorer of the world, always completely infatuated with arts and crafts and all things multi-sensory. I feel very lucky to be able to make my childhood interests and dreams, my adult life reality.

I work with a variety of ages and groups within the community but mostly work with children and young people.

I have grown up as a carer for my younger sister, who is Autistic, has complex needs, and communicates in a non-traditional way. Nearly all of our interaction has always been through play, song, dancing, reciting scenes from films, and arts and crafts.

I believe that being allowed the space to play and explore is crucial in our growth and development as human beings as well as having a major positive benefit to our mental wellbeing - for children and adults alike. We are able to learn from our own experiences without the pressure to behave or perform in a specific way.

I'm always excited to hear about new projects, ideas and everything in between. If you're interested in collaborating with me on a project, please do get in touch.
