I provide consultation and support for theatre companies, venues, art centres, community settings and museums as well as individuals.
Recently (Jan - March 2021) I worked with The V&A Museum of Childhood as a commissioned artist supporting The V&A MoC, IMAGINE gallery, with research and development into the potential of the new Museum of Childhood as an engaging and accessible learning setting for young neurodiverse visitors, with a focus on sensory approaches to learning and engagement.
"Natalya's CPD session gave our multidisciplinary team of museum professionals, including curators, learning practitioners and interpretation producers insight, increased confidence and inspiration in exploring ways we can make the museum and its programmes more inclusive to young neurodiverse learners." - Helena Rice, Senior Creative Producer V&A Museum of Childhood.
"Natalya's style was direct, approachable, engaging for the audience and met our needs. Her content was clear and specific and her personal experiences (both as a sister/carer and as an artist) brought it to life." - Gina Koutsika, Creative & Skills Director V&A Museum of Childhood.
I am a regular guest tutor at East 15 Acting School. Previously, I have lead sessions and training at other institutions, including Rose Bruford Drama School, Middlesex University, The Science Museum London and The Mercury Theatre.
"Natalya is a very insightful and experienced sensory practitioner. We consulted her to improve the accessibility of our outreach workshops. While helping us to build on and adapt our existing approach she also guided us with the development of new sensory workshop material and activities. Her advice and suggestions were clear and well-informed, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of her field and audiences." - Outreach Team, Science Museum London
